Here is a truly unique and somewhat rare bass handcrafted in Japan. Whether or not this bass is right for you, I can tell you that this is a very finely made instrument.This is a 34" scale bass meant to appeal players seeking a convincing upright tone.It can be played in the upright position via the telescoping endpin, or like a typical acoustic bass guitar.I do not play upright bass , but I do like playing this bass seated , cello style.

What is really cool, is the built in programmable preamp. There are 20 memory locations, with 10 being factory presets and ten being user programmable presets.
The programmable parameters are bass , treble, reverb level and 2 different reverb types.
The upright tones in this bass are quite convincing , and the variable EQ and reverb add to the variety of tones available.
Why can't they come up with a programmable electric bass ? I've wanted that for nearly 30 years now - can't it be done ? I digress.

This bass is like new, little played, and comes with the aforementioned endpin , owners manual , and original hardshell case.
